Every Sunday at Mamy Coq's, there was chicken, chips, apple compote… and the whole family gathered around the table.
She wrote her recipes by hand in old notebooks and on loose sheets, sometimes with a butter stain or a few extra words in the margin.
Then one day, she was no longer there to cook them for us.
When I found her recipes again, I realised they held much more than ingredients.
They told the story of our childhood, our memories and all the love she put into every dish.
COOQ was created to preserve these treasures and pass them on.
Photograph your family's handwritten recipes. We'll transcribe them and bring them together in a beautiful personalised book to keep and share.
So the recipes of the people we love can live on, from one generation to the next.
